Ultimate Digger was founded by Marc Polmans in 2023. With only sporting attire permitted at tennis tournaments, the need arose to create a high-quality legionnaire hat that meets official requirements worldwide.

So why Ultimate Digger?
Over the years, fellow Australian players gave me the nickname “Digger” because of my ability to grind through long matches — especially five-set battles at the Grand Slams. As time went on, that nickname naturally became The Ultimate Digger.
I’ve been wearing a legionnaire cap since I was 10 years old. It’s the most reliable way I know to protect the skin that needs it most. When I couldn’t find an option that met the standard I needed — in quality, comfort, or performance — I decided to create my own.
